Kendra & Chris got married on Valentine’s day in Burbank at the The Castaway – a lovely restaurant/banquet center overlooking the hills. The couple (as you may have seen from their engagement photos) are vintage car enthusiasts and they both have these awesome old trucks so I snuck into Chris’ to get a shot of their wedding rings which I adore. Kendra got ready at her friends home in Burbank and then the couple met at the venue for their first look and family photos. Their ceremony was held on the patio overlooking the clear sky and Burbank mountains. The proceedings were short and sweet and VERY touching… and the couple said some of the most heartfelt vows I have ever heard. I loved their vintage details – their guestbook was a vintage atlas and Chris’ cufflinks were typewriter keys. Kendra’s dress was stunning with sparkling beaded accents and flowing chiffon. After the ceremony, the couple met their guests at the reception site for a receiving line where the greeted everyone with huge smiles and big hugs. Red roses filled the romantically lit ballroom which added to the perfect Valentine’s charm. The food was amazing and everyone had a wonderful time dancing to the band Elemenopy – who I must say – did some KILLER Beastie Boys covers. Not to forget, Kendra got up on stage and busted out some drumming of her own alongside the band. I am so happy for Kendra and Chris – they are an incredible couple and I am so thankful that I was able to celebrate with them. Congratulations to the ridiculously perfect Mr. & Mrs. Champeau!!!
